Ed Eschiti, Robert Tippeconnie, Ron RedElk, Robert Kohmahcheet, Darrell Kosechequetah and Yonevea Terry are in severe denial of their recalls as evident in the Lawton Sunday Constitution. They want to act as if they still have autority. What they do have is NO SHAME by causing trouble and creating choas, holding bogus tribal meetings and conducting unofficial business outside on our sacred ceremonial grounds. They claim to be recalled through unjust procedures. The Comanche Tribal Constitution is very clear that upon receipt of a valid recall petition the Chairman shall call a specail tribal council meeting for the sole purpose of a recall within 30 days. All six recall petitions were all undenialbly certified as valid. It is then the responsibility of the chairman to set the time and dates of the recall meetings. The constitution does not deny the chairman the parogative to hold three meetings on the same day. Our constitution is misinterpreted by William Norman of Hobb, Srauss, Dean & Walker to suit himself not the Comanche Nation.
William Norman is quoted as saying, “The process of holding several single meetings in one day does not appear to violate the letter of the consitution. So.., what the heck is the problem? DUH!
William Norman is also quoted as saying, “holding multiple meetings in one day violates the spirit of the Constitution.” What does William Norman know about the spirit of the Comanche Tribal Constitution. He is not even Comanche.
The lawyers and the ousted CBC cannot get it through their knucle heads that Chairman Wauqua is in charge and no programs will be shut down and our casinos are in full operation. He is responsible to act in the best of the Nation until such time all CBC vacancies are filled.
Komahcheet will not see a run off because a run off is not mandated by any law of the Comanche Nation. The chairman is responsible for conducting the General Council meetings. According to the Comanche Constitution it is the parogative of the chairman to decide on the voting process conducted in the General Council meeting. During the General Council meeting on April 21, 2012 the chairman chose not to conduct a run off for Tribal Administrator.
Even though other tribes like the Cheyenne and Arapaho are not certain about who is in charge, the Comanche Nation is a fully functional government and our bank accounts are not frozen. Johnny Wauqua as chairman is in charge and acting well within his authority and power as delegated to his office by the Comanche Tribal Constitution, ARTCILE XIII, Section 1. and the Tribal Council.
Many tribes are infested with bad leaders and are facing uncertainty and cannot work out their inter-tribal disputes. The Comanche Nation found resolve by its tribal constitution and recalled six CBC for their neglect of duty and their conduct that brought disrepute upon the Nation
Sooner or later Ed Eschiti, Robert Tippeconnie, Ron RedElk, Darrell Kosechequetah, Robert Komahcheet, and Yonevea Terry will have to face reality. You are recalled. Now, how soon can we remove HSDW?
